Three Artists Receive Enduring Vision Awards

Nominate the Nominators for the Enduring Vision Awards

The Enduring Vision Awards (EVA) selection process begins with the nomination of qualifying artists made by a selected group of artists and other arts professionals whom we call “nominators.” Each year we need about 25 EVA nominators from throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota and are seeking your recommendations.

For the upcoming 2010 program year, the Bush Artist Program (BAP) is considering for the EVA artists who work in three categories: visual arts, media arts, and traditional and functional craft arts. (Learn more about the categories.)

For the 2011 program year, the BAP will consider artists working in one of the following five categories: literary arts, performance-based work, script works, music composition, and traditional and ethnic performing arts.

Here’s how “Nominate the Nominator” works:

  • Identify a person who is knowledgeable about artists in Minnesota, North Dakota and/or South Dakota to wisely recommend artists eligible for the EVA.
  • Gather contact information for the nominator you wish to recommend and be ready to tell us why you think that person would be a great nominator. (You can nominate more than one person!)
  • Nominate the nominator for any category by completing a brief survey.

Our staff will review all recommendations and follow up if we have questions. Please note that we work with only about 25 nominators each year. While we cannot guarantee that we will contact your recommended nominator, we appreciate your input.
