Jonathan Larson

2009 Medical Fellows
Minnesota

Area of Study: Family Medicine
Long-Term Goal: To develop leadership skills and acquire new knowledge and understanding of public health practice specifically regarding community engagement

Larson lives in Carver County, which has a vision of being the healthiest county in the United States. As medical advisor to Carver County Public Health, he sees the opportunity to create a nonprofit health partnership with the County in support of that vision. He will improve his skills to achieve this goal by attending the Physician Leadership College at St. Thomas University, pursuing mentor relationships and studying independently. Larson is a physician/owner of Lakeview Clinic in Waconia.
